I came to yoga to come home to myself. To get out of my head and into my body. To make a partnership between my body and myself. To stop being in competition with myself and others. I found yoga to be calming and energizing all at once. I loved learning to breath properly. To calm my nervous system. To find that suffering is optional and self acceptance is all.
It is a different way to move the body in a non competitive way. I am strong but stiff, so I modify the poses for clients and myself. I can feel the energy flowing in my mind and body.
